Landslide on the Jurassic Coast - just in time for the exam!

A landslip described as "the worst for 100 years" has destroyed more than 400 metres of Dorset's World Heritage Jurassic Coast just to the east of Lyme Regis...

The area is part of the Spittles/Black Ven complex of landslides and mudslides (check out your notes!). You can also read about it here.

The BBC News webpages are carrying good reports of yesterday's landslide and there is a radio report here.

Remember that in the exam you may have to be able to talk about mass movements in the context of coasts. This is a good, up-to-date example.
